My work has appeared online, on stage, and in print, and I’ve appeared as a panelist and podcast guest for several venues discussing both the craft of writing and the thrill of writing scary stories.
I am a writing professor and literature magazine editor. I hold an M.A. in English with a concentration in Playwriting from CSU Northridge and an M.F.A. in Fiction from UC Riverside’s low residency program in Palm Desert, CA. I also hold a variety of credentials and certificates in teaching and writing pedagogy for both in person and online modalities.
My newsletter, Night Work, is an ongoing record of engagement in the processes of writing, revising, publishing, reflection, and staring off into the middle distance for dramatic effect. I also serve as a Content Editor and Co-Host for The Last Lighthouse, a community-focused podcast and media company exploring the full range of speculative entertainment.
I read a ton, play TTRPGs and board games, have the best kid ever, and am an avid lover of all things spooky.
